Risk Factors – Sustainomics Capital

Overview Investing in property and private companies can offer attractive returns, but it carries significant risks. You should consider the following carefully before proceeding:

  1. Regulatory Status & No FSCS Protection
Investments arranged or introduced by Sustainomics Capital are not regulated activities under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000. As such, they are not protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).

  2. No Investment Advice
Sustainomics Capital does not offer investment advice or personal recommendations. You should seek appropriate guidance from a qualified independent financial adviser before making any investment decisions.

  3. Investor Classification
Before investing, you must confirm your investor classification (e.g. high-net-worth individual, self-certified sophisticated investor). You are responsible for completing this process truthfully. If your status changes, you must notify Sustainomics Capital and cease using our services until reclassified.

  4. Jurisdiction
The information and services provided by Sustainomics Capital are not directed at persons in jurisdictions where their use would breach applicable laws or regulations. Some products or services may not be available in certain regions.

  5. Loss of Capital
The value of property and unlisted business investments can fall as well as rise. You may not recover the full amount you originally invested. You should only invest funds you can afford to lose without impacting your standard of living.

  6. Liquidity Risk
Investments facilitated by Sustainomics Capital are typically illiquid. You should be prepared to hold your investment for the full duration, as early exits or resales cannot be guaranteed.

  7. Dividends Are Not Guaranteed
Where rental income is generated from property assets, distributions may be made after fees, costs and expenses. However, if income is insufficient, dividends may be reduced or not paid at all.

  8. Future Performance Projections
Any statements relating to potential future performance are based on internal assessments or third-party forecasts and are subject to change. Forecasts are inherently uncertain and should not be relied upon as guarantees of outcome.

  9. Past Performance
Any reference to past returns should not be taken as an indication of future performance. Historical data is not a reliable guide to future results.

  10. Diversification
Investing in property and unlisted shares should only form part of a well-diversified portfolio. Only a small portion of your total investable capital should be allocated to these higher-risk assets, with the majority held in safer, more liquid investments.

  11. Tax Obligations
You are solely responsible for managing your tax affairs, which may include capital gains tax and income tax. Sustainomics Capital does not provide tax advice. We recommend seeking guidance from a qualified tax adviser before investing.

This list of risk factors is not exhaustive. You should undertake your own due diligence and seek independent legal, tax, and financial advice before making any investment. If you are in any doubt about the suitability of an investment opportunity, consult an independent financial adviser.
